Take Metro Via Georgetown Metro Connection

The Georgetown Metro Connection services the Rosslyn Metrorail Station (Orange and Blue lines) and Dupont Circle Metrorail Station (Red line). Buses leave every day, every 10 minutes.

From Rosslyn: Exit the Metro Station on the east side. Walk left to the end of the block (Intersection of North Moore and 19th Street).

Dupont Circle: Exit the Metro Station using the South exit. Cross the road and walk one block South on 19th Street (Intersection of 19th Street and Sunderland Place).

DC Circulator & Metro Buses

Visit DCcirculator.com to track your route to Merriment in Georgetown. Due to the road closure, the Circulator will be running a revised route going West on K Street, north on Wisconsin, east on M Street and continuing its regular route from there. WMATA will be altering the routes of the Metro Buses that normally travel through the Georgetown area. The affected routes will travel east/west on Q Street, south on 23rd, north on 22nd, east/west on Pennsylvania Avenue. The G2 bus route will continue to utilize their normal route on Dumbarton.

Heading East from Virginia: Take Route 66 East to Exit 73, Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M Street. You will enter Georgetown from the West side.

Heading West from Maryland: Take Route 50 West until it turns into New York Ave. Keep on New York Ave until it turns into Mt. Vernon Place at 7th Street, NW. Bear right onto Massachusetts Ave. Bear right at Scott Circle. Turn right at Rhode Island Ave. Bear right at M Street. You will enter Georgetown from the East side.

Heading South from Maryland: Take 95 south to the Capital Beltway. Bear right onto 495. Exit onto Route 66 East to exit 73, Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M street. You will enter Georgetown from the West side.

Heading North from Virginia: Take 95 North to Route 395 North. Take exit 8B. Bear right at Washington Blvd. Take the George Washington Parkway North to the Key Bridge. Continue over the Key Bridge and turn right onto M street.

Wisconsin Avenue, NW will be closed between M and N Streets on Sunday, December 6, 2009 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. A 20-foot emergency lane will be available for emergency access only. There will be no parking on the North side of N Street between Potomac St. and Wisconsin Avenue, the South side of N Street between Wisconsin Avenue and 31st Street and on either side of 31st Street between M & N Streets.
